Important Message

A key factor of Desert Knowledge Symposia and Business Exchanges is the diversity of participants that engage to discuss and address the challenges facing desert Australia. 

It has become clear that some key groups are unavailable, which will affect the variety and number of people needed to maintain our previous high standards. We have therefore decided to cancel the 4th Desert Knowledge Symposium and Business Exchange. 

I am personally very disappointed that the event will not be going forward in the present form as the diversity of discussions and the opportunity to consider the real issues and opportunities in desert and remote Australia would have been considerable. However, the organisations hosting the event are currently developing alternative ways of hosting this important conversation for desert Australians.
